From industry to the cars we use on a day-to-day basis, robotics has become a cornerstone of our world, enabling us to do things we never thought were possible. Our program aims to teach students about robotics, focusing on the fundamental engineering aspects. Our three week course will cover the hardware and software aspects of the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Robotics kit. While this class starts from the beginning and welcomes new-comers to the world of robotics, we will also be diving into more advanced robotics concepts, such as logic blocks and line detection. This class is taught by volunteers from MathandCoding
Students need to bring their own laptop with the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 software already installed. If you don't have a laptop and would like the library to provide one, please let library staff know ahead of time.
Free. For children in grades 4-8. Registration required. Please sign up only if you can attend all 3 sessions.
