Village Square Branch Library presents this online program for children 5th thru 8th grades who want to unlock the possibilities of computer programming but does not have much coding experience. Our trained teen volunteers will help students to learn about the basic principles behind computer science using the Python programming language including: Variables and Arithmetic; Control Structures; Control Structures; and Arrays/Lists.

This program will be held online via Zoom. Please register and link and password will be sent to you in advance of the event. To protect the participants' privacy, this meeting will not be recorded and participants will have option to rename themselves for the meeting. Please plan to attend all 4 meetings. For those under 18 years of age who may be joining us, we recommend that a parent/legal guardian be with you during the meeting. Learn more about at
