VIRTUAL: Introduction to Java Programming

Tully Community Branch Library is pleased to offer an ONLINE introduction to Java Programming for 5th through 8th graders!

This weekly 3-session workshop will be held online. Participants will need to have access to a computer or/laptop with internet access. This course offers an introduction to the world of Java programming to provide students with a platform to learn one of the most versatile programming language as well as be introduced to the fundamentals of Object Oriented Programming. This class is taught by volunteers from MathAndCoding

Important: Registration is required. Please sign up only if you can attend all 3 sessions. Class will be taught on Zoom. Please download the Zoom app on your computer/laptop and ensure the audio is set up and working properly before the first session. The Zoom meeting link will be emailed to registered participants on the day of the first session (Saturday, June 6th).

Pre-Teens, ages 10-12
