New Virtual Program Series for Active Adults (55+):
“Tech-Time” – Do you know an Active Adult who desires the tools and training needed to start using the internet, a smart phone, or become a fervent user of technology? Well here’s their chance to gain free access to appropriate tools and training.
Join the Alum Rock Branch Library in partnership with the Evergreen Community Center (PRNS) as we endeavor to create a virtual friendly space for Active Adults while providing virtual adaptive technologies programming for this community of life-long learners.
What does this program look like?
During each session, 10 Active Adults will have the opportunity to experience a range of tech devices (iPhone, iPads, Nooks, Kindles, laptops…) while receiving virtual support & practice with a trained tech instructor. It’s like playing in a “tech-sandbox!”
Registration is Required - Participants will need to log into the Virtual Zoom class to connect with the instructor. Zoom log-in information will be emailed after registration.
