Want to dip your toes in the water before plunging into a High School Business Program? Try this zero risk (to your grades) library program! This 8-part series is meant for Middle Schoolers (5th to 8th graders) to try out High School Business and Econ. lessons. The goals are to teach business practices, to prepare individuals to start their own businesses, or to run a business. Students will be introduced to principles of business, entrepreneurship, finance, economics, and a business organizational chart. This workshop is intended for children ages 10 to 14 (or in grades 5 through 8)
Participants should not register unless they are able to attend all 8 sessions (sessions will not be recorded so live participation is required to learn the material). Participants will be sent Zoom information a day before the first session. Registered participants who miss the first session may lose their spot in the program.
Although participants' video is turned off by default, it is encouraged (and strongly recommended) for active class participation.
Participants will need access to WIFI and a laptop/computer and the class will be held through Zoom. Fifteen minutes prior to the class, please ensure your system's audio is working properly. If interested, you can download or find out more information on Zoom software here.
Online etiquette is expected and participants who interfere with the instructors' presentation may be removed from the class.
This event is run and sponsored by KoreKloud
