Prepare for the prestigious Math Olympiad competition or get better at mathematics! Children ages 8-11 will learn how to solve difficult math problems as preparation for math competitions in middle school. Through guided instruction and practice using real competition math problems, participants will learn how to break down problems and solve them step-by-step.
This program meets online each Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Participants must pre-register for EACH session. Participants should not register unless they are sure they will be able to attend (if you register and fail to attend, you prevent someone else from attending the program).
All sessions will be held online using Zoom. In order to join the class using Zoom, participants must have access to a computer, tablet, or smart phone with an internet connection. Instructions to join the Zoom meeting will be emailed to all registered participants the evening before each session. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PARENTS: Please join each meeting with your child to make sure he or she is able to use Zoom to participate in the program.
