Macro and Micro Economics (Virtual Class)

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

In broad terms, economics is the study of how society manages its scarce resources. In this course, we will be going over the fundamentals of micro and macroeconomics where we will learn about supply and demand, elasticity, indicators of the economy, and many more concepts. However, this course is not only going to focus on learning these topics, but also applying them to the real world such as seeing how the pandemic has affected the economy at a deeper level from both a micro and macro perspective.

The class is suitable for children in grades 5th - 9th.

The course consists of 8 sessions. If you register, you will be enrolled in the entire 8-week long class. Please make every effort to attend every session.

This class will be held online via Zoom. Please register and a link and password will be sent to you in advance of the event. To protect participants' privacy, this meeting will not be recorded and participants will have the option to rename themselves for the meeting. For those under 18 years of age who may be joining us, we recommend that a parent/legal guardian be with you during the meeting. Learn more about Zoom at
