*Virtual* Women Returners Workgroup - Session 6

1:30 PM – 2:30 PM

*This is a Free Webinar*

Are you seeking to return to the workforce after a break? Join the SJPL Women Returners WorkGroup to jumpstart your job search, build your confidence, strengthen your existing skills for meaningful employment, and create momentum by collaborating with other women returners. Job search experts will teach and guide you during each session.

This is part of a continuous workshop session that will take place every 3rd Wednesday of each month until November. Each session will explore a different topic and have exercises that will help you in your resume and job search.

Below are the scheduled topic descriptions of each session.

Wednesday, October 20th
Session 6 - Topic: Resume

  • A well-crafted resume is a vital tool to helping you stand out to potential employers.
  • In this session we will focus on the most difficult piece of a resume – linking your skills and experience to the needs of your potential employers. Whether you are connecting your previous experience, volunteer experience, or switching careers, you will learn to identify and highlight the transferable skills the employer is looking for.

November 17th
Session 7 - Topic: Job Searching - Goal Setting

For the session, please have pen and paper (or laptop) handy to do the exercises and to make notes to provide feedback to other participants.
