Virtual Living History: Sacagawea

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Description

This program was generously sponsored by the Friends of the Edenvale Branch Library.

Join us as Martina Mathisen, educational entertainer, dressed as Sacagawea shares her story about her people (the Lemhi Shoshone), her ways of living, her brother (whom she loved), life with the Hidatsa (their way of life), her kidnapping, the journey with Lewis and Clark. This is really the story of the Exploration of Discovery from her point of view. Martina Mathisen has the endorsement of the Lewis and Clark Foundation in Illinois. It is interactive and story based.
