Inventor is a powerful 3D modeling software that is often used in professional environments for designing parts and components. This 10-part course focuses on teaching the basics of Autodesk Inventor. It is suitable for participants in 5th grade and up.
No previous experience in CAD (computer-aided drafting) is required, though you are expected to know how to operate a computer including: downloading and opening files, starting programs, and navigating file systems.
Participants will need a Windows computer capable of running Autodesk Inventor as well as a copy of the software. This software is not free, but has free student access and a free trial period. The course is designed to run within the trial period of the software. Instructions on how to access the software as well as a Zoom link will be provided to registrants.
