Are you seeking to return to the workforce after a break? 

Join the SJPL Women Returners WorkGroup to jumpstart your job search, build your confidence, strengthen your existing skills for meaningful employment, and create momentum by collaborating with other women returners. Job search experts will teach and guide you during each session.

This will be a 7 session workshop that will take place on a Wednesday once a month until February 2023. Each session will explore a different topic and have exercises that will help you in your resume and job search.

For the session, please have your camera on, and a pen and paper (or laptop) handy to do the exercises.

Below are the scheduled topic of each session.

October 12th
Session 3- Topic: Personality and Skill

In this session of the Women Returner Workgroup, we will explore how knowledge of your personality type can help you define your work purpose. Through the exercises in this session, you will hopefully identify your top skills and begin to leverage them in your resume and job search.

Before the session, please try and find 15 minutes to complete this free personality type test. And please download this Skills Inventory Worksheet for the exercises.

November 9th
Session 4- Topic: Value and Interest

December 7th
Session 5 - Topic: Elevator Pitch

January 18th 2023
Session 6- Topic: Networking

February 8th 2023
Session 7 - Topic: Resume
