This program is in celebration of Silicon Valley Reads 2023 theme, “Journey to New Beginnings.”
Join us as we share Nomar Perez’s “Coqui in the City,” the story of a boy who leaves his homeland, family, and friends. His parents help him find new and familiar things to love in his new neighborhood.This is a wonderful book with a comforting message, perfect for sharing with young readers who are experiencing big changes.A paper craft will follow in which we create frogs of our own.
Recommended for ages 4-8.
