Meet with counselors from the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR)! DOR works to provide tailored services and supports for individuals with disabilities who are seeking to get and keep competitive employment.

Services may include:

• Assistance with the job search process, resume building, interviewing practice, finding job leads
• Assistance with getting interview or work clothing
• Assistance with transportation costs associated with conducting a job search
• Support for short-term training to prepare for employment in a specific position/industry
• Job Coaching and MORE!

DOR works with each individual to develop a plan that incorporates specific services and supports tailored to the individual and their desired employment goal. Each individual will receive the services that may be required for that individual to achieve their employment goal. Services for one individual may appear quite different from another, based on variables that are related to each individual’s situation, goals, and timeframes.
