Color Creative: Custom Keychains

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
King Library

Description

Middle and high school students welcome to join us for Color Creative, a different Maker Space activity, on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.

Create your own personalized acrylic or wooden keychain by drawing it out on paper, then scanning it with our Glowforge and getting it engraved and cut (print) out while you watch. Supplies limited to 2 key chains per participant.

Please Note:

  • You can bring a prepared design in advance. Be sure that your design is black on white paper and there isn't shading.
  • Although the program goes until 5PM, there can be a line for printing. Please expect to stay as late as 6PM if you come later in the programming.
  • You must be in line to print your design before 5PM.
  • If for some reason we run out of time, you'll need to come back to pick-up your prints. Most prints are available by 2PM the next day.

This program is free. No pre-registration required.
