Rose Garden

Description

Looking for a fun STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) activity this summer? Children ages 7-13 can participate in our STEAM Learning Labs this summer! Programs are on a range of STEAM topics from AR to greenscreen to coding. Participants will get hands-on experience in creating with computers, iPads, robots, or other devices as they complete a project.

Learn the basics of Sphero to set you up for success in building fun games. Learn to roll, aim, control the LEDs, change heading, and detect collisions. Once you have the basics down, you can recreate classic games with a Sphero while learning the basics of game design. You’ll build your very own robotic renditions of some famous games like Pong. Students will be introduced to coding and robotics using the iPad and Sphero robots.

Each participating child must be registered. All sessions cover the same material, so please register for only one session for each child.
