Events › West Valley Branch Teens Reach Meeting

Do you want to volunteer at West Valley Branch Library? Teens ages 13-18 can apply to join our Teens Reach chapter, become library volunteers, and attend monthly meetings to earn service hours for their school/club. (Note: San Jose Public Library is not a certifying organization for the Presidential Service Award.) Those who are 18 or turn 18 while volunteering with us will need to be fingerprinted by the City of San Jose no cost to them. Learn more about Teens Reach.

At West Valley Branch Library, we meet in-person one Thursday a month from 4:30-5:30pm. (Meeting dates will vary due to room availability and AP/finals/graduation schedules, but we usually meet on first or second Thursdays.) Past meeting activities have included: Teens Reach Officer elections for our chapter, decorating the library, assisting with item donation drives, and teen volunteer parties with games and snacks! 

Free. Snacks available while they last. Teens who attend the meeting will be asked to sign in on a paper log for attendance.
