Are you ready to push your fluency skills to the next level? If you’re an intermediate or advanced English learner seeking to progress your speaking skills and engage in meaningful conversations, this class is for you. In our weekly class, you have the opportunity to participate in structured, guided conversations that enhance your speaking skills and build your confidence. Topics will include current events, lifestyles, and culture. You’ll engage in diverse conversations that enrich your vocabulary, refine your grammar, and boost your overall fluency. This is a great opportunity to practice speaking while connecting with fellow English learners in a friendly and fun environment. Mistakes are okay! We are not seeking perfection; the goals are to understand and to be understood at the higher fluency levels. Come practice with us!

San Jose Public Library presents this virtual English Language Learner (ELL) Conversation Club with a focus on intermediate/advanced conversation practice.

This is a welcoming and respectful environment for adult learners of English. Weekly meetings are facilitated by our exceptional and experienced King Library volunteer, Ann. We invite you to join us to practice and build your English conversation skills with other adult learners.
