Join us for our monthly STEM Workshop presented by teen volunteers in Girls Empowered in Math and Science (GEMS)! This one-hour workshop includes a brief presentation explaining the concepts involved in the activities.

Welcome to World of Weather! Rain or shine, this month’s workshop will give participants the opportunity to engage in three weather-based science activities. We’ll begin with a DIY recreation of acid rain, and then get crafty with UV color-changing friendship bracelets. Last but not least, students will put together their very own weather vanes. Join us on May 18th from 1 to 2 pm at Cambrian Branch Library for a sunny day of science!

Free. No registration required. Recommended for elementary school students. Presented by teen volunteers in Girls Empowered in Math and Science (GEMS).
