Celebrate Earth Day with this engaging workshop about worms and how they help with composting of kitchen scraps.
Children (age 5 to 10) will observe and touch real live worms and learn about their anatomy and function as decomposers in ecosystems. Each child will make a clay model of a worm to take home, and we'll end the workshop with a reading of a delightful picture book on composting.
Free. While space/supplies last. No registration required.
This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Santa Teresa Branch Library.
