In this series, participants will learn the basics of playing the Ukulele and will acquire the ability to read chords and apply it to a variety of tunes.

The series will include 3 sessions and each session will cover the following:

• Session 1, Jun. 9: How to hold & strum the ukulele; Tuning; How to read chords with 1 & 2 finger chords
• Session 2, Jun. 23: Review chords & introduce 3 finger chords; Introduce rhythm patterns
• Session 3, June. 30: Practicing rhythm patterns; special techniques; putting it all together!

No musical experience required. 
Ukuleles will be provided to participants but you may bring your own if you have one.

Recommended for ages 7 and older + Parents can participate if there are extra ukuleles.

We recommend that participants come to all three sessions to get the most out of the program.
