Do you have questions or need assistance with technology? At the Almaden Branch you can make a 15- or 30-minute appointment to assist you with:

  • Learning to use Libby (formerly Overdrive) to read ebooks and listen to e-audiobooks
  • Accessing non-Overdrive eBooks and audiobooks from Boundless, CloudLibrary, and Enki
  • Using Hoopla to read, listen and watch
  • Accessing the New York Times and/or the San Jose Mercury News online
  • Accessing and searching Consumer Reports
  • Learning a new language with Mango
  • Connecting to Wi-Fi/hotspots
  • Using Discover & Go to reserve free or reduced tickets to local museums and attractions
  • Navigating the SJPL website
  • Checking out a 7-day pass to access Great Courses from Libby or Hoopla
  • Using the library's pay-to-print system
  • Walking you through a Digital Skills Building Pathways lesson
  • And much more!
