Events › *Virtual* Beginning ESL: Side-by-Side Plus 1, Unit 3

Have you taken an English Second Language (ESL) class using the lessons from Side-by-Side Plus 1? If you have prior knowledge in Units 1 (personal information, meeting people) and 2 (classroom objects, places around town) then join us in our 10-day Zoom class going over Unit 3. 

Lesson content will focus on using the continuous present tense to describe activities that answer the question, "What are you doing?"  Verbs include eating, drinking, singing, reading, swimming, etc.  We will practice talking about everyday activities we do in our homes, outside in our yards, or at the park.  We will also learn how to be prepared for emergencies and what to say when you call 911 for emergency assistance.

Classes will be from 2:30 - 3:30 PM on Monday and Wednesdays: July 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30, and August 4 and 6.
