Calling All Cat Lovers and Curious Minds! Our presenters from Town Cats have been rescuing cats and improving animal welfare through education and advocacy in Santa Clara County for over 25 years. 

Introducing Pawsitive Learning: Empowering Youth in Feline Care—a unique program from Town Cats designed to educate and inspire the next generation of responsible cat caretakers.

  • Live Demonstrations: Enjoy hands-on activities with other friendly feline friends.
  • Interactive Learning: Kids can engage in Q&A sessions, handle educational materials, and learn directly from experts.
  • Take-Home Resources: Receive educational handouts to continue learning at home, including a cost breakdown of caring for a cat.
  • Expert Instruction: Led by an animal behaviorist and a team of cat care experts with years of experience.

    What will you learn

    • How to pet, pick up, and safely handle cats
    • The responsibilities of cat ownership (hint: it’s more than just cuddles!)
    • The importance of compassion and animal safety

    Why attend?

    The Pawsitive Learning program is tailored to elementary, middle, and high school students, with age-appropriate content designed to inspire a lifelong sense of responsibility, compassion, and understanding toward cats and animals in general.

    Tickets (one per person) will be distributed at the front desk 30 minutes before the event on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants must be present to receive a ticket.
