Latinas Contra Cáncer presentarán talleres en la biblioteca de King, 150 East San Fernando, San Jose, CA 95112, que ofrecerán información general sobre la prevención del cáncer, factores de riesgo, síntomas, detección, diagnóstico y tratamiento, equipando a los participantes con el conocimiento necesario para hacerse cargo de su salud y marcar la diferencia en sus vidas y comunidades. Los talleres serán en español. Se realizarán en las siguientes fechas:

• 23 de agosto, de 11:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m. - Digital Humanities Center, Primer Planta. Programa Híbrido
• 24 de septiembre, de 6:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m. - Programa Virtual (Zoom)
• 29 de octubre, de 6:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. - Digital Humanities Center, Primer Planta. Programa Híbrido

Todos los programas son gratuitos. 

Estacionamiento gratuito en Fourth Street Garage (primeros 90 minutos). Rutas de autobús: 22, 23, 64A, 64B, 66, 68, 72, 73, 500, 522, 523, 568, Highway 17 Express, Light Rail.

Se enviará un enlace de Zoom a los clientes que deseen asistir al programa virtualmente.

Latinas Contra Cáncer will present workshops at the King Library, 150 East San Fernando, San Jose, CA 95112. They will offer general information on cancer prevention, risk factors, symptoms, screening, diagnosis, and treatment, equipping participants with the knowledge necessary to take charge of their health and make a difference in their lives and communities. The workshops will be in Spanish. They will be held on the following dates:

• August 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - Digital Humanities Center, First Floor. Hybrid Program
• September 24, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Virtual Program (Zoom)
• October 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Digital Humanities Center, First Floor. Hybrid Program
  

All programs are free.
