Jan 27 - Fingerprinting (Science from Scientists)
Participants will discover which type of fingerprints they have before investigating the various ways of leaving behind, collecting, and analyzing prints. Students will explore fingerprint inking, dusting, lifting, and analysis.

Feb 10 - Science Of Flight
Let's build things that fly! Come join a fun class where we will build planes, gliders, and choppers. We will also learn to make plastic cups glide! Improve your designs to fly higher, faster or longer. Lesson by Nurturing Young Mindz Foundation.
Feb 24 - Intro to Scratch: Dodgeball
Code a flying cat that needs to dodge balls midair! Learn key programming concepts such as loops, conditionals, and the coordinate plane using the visual-based block coding platform Scratch. No prior coding experience needed! Parents should provide a computer for their child if possible and create a Scratch account beforehand.
Mar 3 - Spaghetti Engineering
Create a tower with spaghetti and marshmallows. Learn how to create stable structures
Mar 10 - Forces and motions
Let's have fun with Newton's Laws of Motion! We will learn about the three laws through fun activities like building balloon cars, parachutes and more! Lesson by Nurturing Young Mindz Foundation.
Mar 17 - Lego Engineering Challenge
Work individually or in teams to complete our engineering challenge.
Mar 24 - Squishy Circuits
Learn about conductor and insulators as you create playdoh creations that light up.
Apr 14 - Marshmallow catapult
Build a catapult to launch marshmallows and learn about elastic energy and rotational motion.

Apr 28 - Ice Cream in a Bag
Come make a tasty treat to celebrate the warming weather! We will be making homemade vanilla or peppermint ice cream with optional chocolate chips and learning about the science behind creating this frozen treat. Best for grades 1-5.

May 5 - Food Webs
Participants construct a food web model that represents a simplified version of
the Yellowstone ecosystem and consider what would happen to the ecosystem if
the food web was disrupted by the removal of a native species and/or the
introduction of an invasive species.
Free, with limited capacity. Tickets will be distributed starting 60 minutes before the program.
Most sessions are appropriate for ages 5-10 but please check each session description for specific details. Adults welcome but not required.
