Join us for a fun hour of reading aloud! The librarian will read a selection of picture books, easy readers and chapter books to entire families that foster engagement and social emotional learning. 

According to research, reading aloud is one of the most important things we can do with children. Reading aloud builds many foundational skills, introduces vocabulary, provides a model of fluent, expressive reading, and helps children recognize what reading for pleasure is all about.
