Description

English language learners (ELL) can practice basic writing skills in English with our tutor in a welcoming and respectful environment for adult learners. Sessions take place every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. Our volunteer tutor will help you: improve your English, practice reading and pronunciation, and learn new vocabulary. Suggested for high beginners up to advanced English language Learners.

Free. Space is limited and registration required. Please stop by the Vineland Library or call us at (408) 808-3000 to register.

Vineland's English Learning series:

  • ELL Beginning English: A beginner program for learners with limited English skills; approximately levels 0-2
  • ELL Grammar and Vocabulary Club: An intermediate program for learners that know some English but want to learn more/complex English; approximately levels 2-3
  • ELL Conversation Club: An advanced program for learners to practice speaking and listening while also learning about American culture and idioms; approximately levels 3-4
  • ELL Writing Club: A program where high beginners to advanced level English language learners can learn and practice their English writing skills; approximately levels 2-4
  • ELL Reading & Speaking: A program where high beginners to advanced level English language learners can read aloud and practice their pronunciation; approximately levels 2-4
