Children in grades K-3 are invited to join us for the interactive program about bridges and their importance as routes connecting places, people, and communities. Children will learn about bridge types, famous bridges around the world, and why bridges stay strong and safe. They will get a chance to think like civil engineers with hands-on projects and a quiz!
This STEAM Club session is a part of the annual Silicon Valley Reads (SV Reads) program.
STEAM Club is free and all materials will be provided. Parents are welcome to attend with their children. Recommended for children in grades K-3, but younger children may attend with parental assistance.
Pre-registration not required, but space is limited. Participants must pick up a ticket at the Information Desk, and participants must be present to pick up a ticket (families may not pick up tickets for children who are not there). Tickets will become available 30 minutes prior to the start of each session.
