The novel Give Me a Sign by Anna Sortino takes place primarily at Camp Gray Wolf, a Summer Camp for the Deaf and Blind. One popular Summer Camp tradition is lanyard making. Lanyards are an easy, fun, and colorful way to decorate backpacks and zipper pulls.
Join us to learn how to make plastic lace lanyards, thread friendship bracelets, and watch The Peanut Butter Falcon at TeenHQ. The Peanut Butter Falcon is rated PG-13: Zak, a man with Down syndrome, runs away from a residential nursing home to pursue his dream of becoming a wrestler. Later, he meets with an outlaw who becomes his friend and coach.
