Tax-Aid Tax Help

Description

Tax-Aid volunteers at the Martin Luther King Jr. Library offer free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns, including:

  • People who generally make $69,000 or less
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Limited English-speaking taxpayers

What to Bring:

  • Photo ID and Social Security card or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) for each family member.
  • W-2 forms and all 1099, or all other tax forms you received.
  • A copy of last year's federal and state tax return, if available.
  • Bank account number and routing number for direct deposit.
  • Proof of health Insurance.
  • Childcare provider info if applicable.

Limited appointments may be available via Tax-Aid.org. Walk-in appointments are available on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis while slots are available. 

There will be volunteers who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, and more.

Parking available in the ParkSJ Fourth Street Garage (first 90 minutes free).
