VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) offers free tax help to hard working individuals and families whose income is less than $69,000, or ones with disabilities, or limited English.

What to Bring

• Photo ID and Social Security card or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) for each family member.
• W-2 forms and all 1099, or all other tax forms you received.
• A copy of last year's federal and state tax return, if available.
• Bank account number and routing number for direct deposit.
• Health coverage information (1095-A,B,C).

Info below is specifically for VITA Tax Help at Pearl:

No Registration. Walk-in only. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED while daily limited slots are available.

A paper sign in sheet for assistance on the day of tax help will be available at 3 PM. No appointment or signing up in advance by calling and emailing the branch. This program will run weekly, from Thursday, February 5 to Thursday, April 9, from 4 - 7 p.m.

There will be volunteers who speak Chinese, Hindi and Punjabi.
