Biblioteca Latinoamericana

Description

Middle school students (ages 10–14) are invited to this introductory program on artificial intelligence (AI) where they will learn the core concepts of AI in a fun, interactive setting. Participants will explore how AI impacts their world, from smart assistants to creative tools, while developing a foundational understanding of how AI works and how it can be applied responsibly. Coding experience is not necessary for this program; hands-on activities are designed for both coders and non-coders.

Each session of this five-session series covers a different topic. Participants are not required to attend all five sessions but may elect to attend only those sessions that interest them. Sessions will cover these topics:

  • Sunday March 1: Introduction to AI
  • Sunday March 8: Machine Learning Applications: Facial & Speech Technologies
  • Sunday March 15: AI in Music and Sound
  • Sunday March 22: AI in Image Recognition
