Join SJPL in exploring the lives of some of the first Black students at San Jose State University (SJSU) through Black Spartans -- a special artistic photo exhibit. Explore some of the history and stories of the first 40 years of Black students at SJSU, including information from the university's Special Collections & Archives documenting Black experiences in SJSU history. Each exhibit piece has a powerful, unique story to tell. 

Presented by SJPL and SJSU King Library, this exhibit is FREE to all.
