Access to traditional Chinese music is increasingly important in today’s multicultural communities, particularly in areas with large immigrant populations. For many families of Asian heritage, traditional music serves as a vital cultural anchor—connecting generations, fostering understanding, and strengthening community identity. Aimusic.us––Firebird Youth Chinese Orchetra (FYCO) will present solos, duets, trios, and ensembles based on authentic Chinese as well as Californian folksongs, and regional operatic music. These pieces follow traditional Chinese musical principles, emphasizing balanced ensemble structure and heritage-based orchestration rather than Westernized models. 

Note: This FREE program is presented in hybrid format. Registrants can attend in-person or on Zoom. All registrants will receive a Zoom link to log in at least 30 minutes before start time. 

To attend in-person, location is at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library, 150 E. San Fernando St., San Jose, CA 95112, in the Digital Humanities Center (First Floor). Park for FREE the first 90 minutes at the Fourth Street Parking Garage. Public transportations are available.

愛樂音專——火鳳青年國樂團（Firebird Youth Chinese Orchestra，簡稱 FYCO）將呈現獨奏、重奏（二重奏、三重奏）及合奏等多元形式的演出，曲目取材自正統的中國民歌、加州民謠，以及各地傳統戲曲音樂。所有作品皆遵循中國傳統音樂的美學與結構原則，強調合奏編制的陰陽平衡與以文化傳承為核心的配器理念，而非西方化的改編模式。

注意：此免費項目採用線上線下混合模式。註冊者可以選擇親臨現場或透過 Zoom 參與。所有註冊者都將在活動開始前至少 30 分鐘收到 Zoom 連結並登入。

如欲親自到現場，活動地點為馬丁路德金紀念圖書館（地址：150 E. San Fernando St., San Jose, CA 95112），位於數位人文中心（一樓）。前 90 分鐘可在第四街停車場免費停車。有公共交通工具。
