STEM 4 Change: Forces in Motion

Curious about how science and technology can change the world? Students ages 10-13 are welcome to join STEM 4 Change for fun, hands-on workshops where you’ll play games, solve challenges, and explore exciting topics like renewable energy and robotics—all while discovering how STEM can make a difference! STEM 4 Change is offering 3 workshops this April. Students interested in attending one or more of these workshops, should register for each workshop separately.

On April 18 join us for “Forces in Motion:”

Students will explore the physics of propulsion and Newton’s Third Law of Motion by designing and testing balloon-powered rockets along a string track. Through experimentation with balloon size and launch conditions, they will observe how action–reaction forces generate thrust and motion.

STEM 4 Change is a student-driven initiative dedicated to harnessing the power of STEM to foster creativity, social equity, and global impact.

All materials will be provided.

Free. Registration is required.

¿Tienes curiosidad por cómo la ciencia y la tecnología pueden cambiar el mundo? ¡Los estudiantes de 10 a 13 años están invitados a unirse a STEM 4 Change para talleres prácticos y divertidos donde jugarán, resolverán desafíos y explorarán temas emocionantes como la energía renovable y la robótica, mientras descubren cómo STEM puede marcar la diferencia! Los estudiantes explorarán la física de la propulsión y la Tercera Ley del Movimiento de Newton al diseñar y probar cohetes impulsados por globos que se desplazan a lo largo de una pista de cuerda. A través de la experimentación con el tamaño del globo y las condiciones de lanzamiento, observarán cómo las fuerzas de acción y reacción generan empuje y movimiento.

STEM 4 Change es una iniciativa dirigida por estudiantes dedicada a aprovechar el poder de STEM para fomentar la creatividad, la equidad social y el impacto global.

Quý vị tìm hiểu về cách khoa học và công nghệ có thể thay đổi thế giới? Học sinh từ 10-13 tuổi được chào đón tham gia STEM 4 Change với các buổi hội thảo thực hành thú vị, ở đó các em sẽ được chơi trò chơi, giải quyết thử thách và khám phá những chủ đề thú vị như năng lượng tái tạo và robot - đồng thời khám phá cách STEM có thể tạo nên sự khác biệt! STEM 4 Change sẽ có 3 buổi hội thảo trong tháng 4 này. Học sinh quan tâm đến việc tham gia một hoặc nhiều buổi hội thảo này nên ghi danh riêng cho từng buổi.

Vào 18 Tháng Tư hãy tham gia với chúng tôi trong "Lực Di Chuyển:"

Học sinh sẽ khám phá vật lý về lực đẩy và Định luật thứ ba của Newton về chuyển động bằng cách thiết kế và thử nghiệm hỏa tiển chạy bằng bóng bay dọc theo một đường ray căng dây. Thông qua thử nghiệm với kích thước bóng bay và điều kiện phóng, các em sẽ quan sát cách các lực tác dụng – phản tác dụng tạo ra lực đẩy và chuyển động.

STEM 4 Change là sáng kiến ​​do sinh viên khởi xướng nhằm khai thác sức mạnh của STEM để thúc đẩy sự sáng tạo, công bằng xã hộ,i và tác động toàn cầu.
