*Virtual* Introduction to Python Programming

5:00 PM – 5:45 PM

Description

Join us for the virtual introductory Python programming course for kids and teens.

In this course, students will learn to code in Python through hands-on lessons. It will cover the fundamentals, such as data types, conditional statements (if-else), looping (for, while, do-while), and how to understand and fix compilation errors. We will be using jdoodle.com, a free, browser-based IDE (Integrated Development Environment). By the end of this course, students will walk away with the confidence to write basic code using Python.

The 6-session course is geared toward upper-grade elementary and middle school students.

  • First session: April 9
  • Second session: April 16
  • Third session: April 23
