Join us for another exciting gardening topic!

The gardening technique of the "Three Sisters" involves planting corn, beans, and squash together in a mutually beneficial arrangement. Enjoy discussing the 3 Sisters planting method with UC Master Gardeners of Santa Clara County. We will discuss the history of the 3 Sisters planting and how it is a sustainable and efficient way to grow vegetables. We will also discuss plant placement and choosing the variety of squash, beans, and corn that provide optimal results. Finally, we will discuss the fourth sister and end the session with a discussion on post-harvest soil maintenance
