SJPL Picks: YA Mysteries & Thrillers with a Twist

While Mysteries and Thrillers often have us scratching our heads and turning pages towards the breath-taking conclusion, these reads have even more elements to consider than your standard riddle-laden read. If you like your whodunit with a dose of whatwasthat(?!), try on these Speculative Mysteries or Thrillers. Speculative fiction encompasses such genres as fantasy, sci-fi, paranormal, and horror; each of these novels will blend an element of speculative fiction to their puzzling plot, bringing about uncanny unsubs, cryptic clues, preternatural pursuers, and maybe even some magical murders. Selected and curated by SJPL Librarians.
