SJPL Picks: YA Debut Fiction

There was a time where Simone Biles couldn't do a somersault, when Henry Cavill had never performed in front of a camera, and a time when Billie Eilish hadn't so much as sung a single note. We all have to start somewhere with a craft, and the authors on this list are no different. These novels are their publishing debut, and who knows - perhaps the next new literary great has their work here. Check out this list to find debut works of fiction from authors writing for young adults, published within the last two years, selected and curated by SJPL Librarians.
