SJPL Picks: Alternate Histories

This list is for those that love to ask, "What if?" Alternate History is a subgenre of Speculative fiction and books belonging to the genre are often marked as Sci-fi or Fantasy; they may have elements of these genres, but not necessarily. These books are more defined by the question, "What if history happened differently?" They take historical events, turn the outcomes on their heads, and then take the time to finish answering, "what if...?" Fans of Inglourious B*sterds or the Man in the High Castle will find reads here; come explore myriad what ifs from all sorts of angles. Selected and curated by SJPL Librarians.
